Policies & Payments

By using this website or contracting for any services with Pets Place, you agree to the following binding policies, terms and conditions. If you have any questions about our policies, please be sure to discuss them with us prior to booking services.

Any emergencies or urgent needs may be addressed by calling 407-234-1785 at any time to leave a message. Your call will be returned as soon as possible. If there are any last minute change or additions to your schedule please send an email to petsplacevippetssitters@mail.com.

Reservations may be made through email, phone call, text, or through our contact form. A confirmation email will be sent to you.

Meet and Greet
There is no fee for our Meet and Greet, which will last about 30 to 40 minutes. A Meet and Greet is required before booking our services. Emergencies do arise, so we reserve the right to waive this requirement. A Meet and Greet provides us the opportunity to meet your pets, answer your questions, and receive information about caring for your pets. If anything during the Meet and Greet appear to be dangerous or unhealthy (filthy homes, hoarding situations, aggressive pets) we reserve the right to refuse service.

Prior to the Meet and Greet, you will receive several forms. One set will be for Pets Place to collect information about your pet and contact information. The other forms will be a contact regarding our service and policies. Please take time to read them and fill out the information. The information you provide on the form will be the starting point of our conversation. The form, signed and filled out, will be collected during our conversation.

Pets Place will retain your key. The key will be returned at your request. it is suggested that you allow Pets Place to retain your key in our locked file for future pet sitting needs. if you prefer your key is returned in person, a $ 15 fee will be charge for each trip needed to pick up and return your Key.

If you have a security system you will need to provide Pets Place with the alarm code.

The payment is due in full before our first visit.

We accept cash, check and credit cards. If using a credit card, a 3% convenience fee will be added to your bill.

There will be a $ 10 holiday fee added per visit.

Holidays include: New Year's Eve/ Day, Good Friday, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day/ July 4th day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day.

Cancellations for services must be made 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged for a visit, Any unused amount will be applied to your account as a credit.

Aggressive Pets
If any pet shows signs of dangerous, over the top aggression or bites/attacks, Pets Place staff will immediately terminate the sit and notify the client. The client will need to contact the emergency contact listed on the client form.

In case the client is not accessible, Pets Place will contact the emergency contact. In these circumstances the emergency contact will then take over responsibility for the animal, and will be required to transfer the pet to a boarding facility or the contact person's home at the owner's expense.

Pet Soiling Accidents
Some pets may not adjust to your absence right away and may have an accident in your home. This is normal and Pets Place will make every effort to clean up after your pet.

Pet Proofing
It is the client's responsibility to pet-proof any areas of the home/property to which the pet has access. This includes thoroughly inspecting fences, gates, latches, doors and other devises meant to keep pets inside or away from any areas your pet is not allowed access. Pets Place is not liable for any injuries or death pets may sustain while alone in its own home/property or if it escapes in areas of poor repair. Pets Place also cannot be responsible for the damages to the home/property that pets may cause if they are free-roaming in an unsecured are of the home.

Job Sharing/Guests in the Home
Job sharing by anyone not associated with Pets Place is not covered by our insurance. If the client allows anyone else access to the home or property (lawn care, housekeepers, repair people, family, friends, etc),Pets Place will not be held liable for any theft, loss or damage to property or injury, loss or death of your pet as a result of Pets Place not having sole access to the client's home during the contract time.

Pets Place politely declines to provide pet sitting to a client who has someone staying in the home while the client is away.
